Poor Quality by Previous Mobile Detailer

My client had been using another mobile detailer in Ocala and had just become disappointed in this detailers efforts. They were always showing up late and the quality of work was very lacking. What makes this 2008 Ferrari F430 special ?

This is a really amazing automobile. The name itself is a represents a brand and company that is known worldwide for its iconic racing heritage. Ferrari is also known as a world class exotic automobile manufacturer. Ferrari has become the automobile manufacturer that most other companies end up copying their designs.

This is a privilege. Ferrari has had a long storied racing history for as long as I can remember. My client needed to have his 2008 Ferrari F430 taken care of and maintained. My client had been looking for a detailer for quite some time that would do the job he was asking for without giving him any grief. He had his office manager call me to go over everything that he wanted done on a regular basis. After she and I spoke, it was very evident that the work performed by some of the detailers in Ocala leaves a lot to be desired.

Areas of concern on this 2008 Ferrari F430

Although this is a 2008 Ferrari F430, it is very close to being a brand new car. It has 8600 miles on it. However it had some micro marring – which is light scratches in the paint. It also had some micro-marring and yellowing in the Paint Protection Film. The good news is, with this being a normal high gloss paint, it can be repaired. This happens from the car being washed with a pressure washer and then being wiped down with the same towel they have used on several other cars on the lot. This process creates scratches.

How to Fix the Problems

Fortunately, most of the problems discussed in the previous paragraph are repairable. The micro marring in the paint required time consuming slow/ methodical polishing to remove the damage to the paint. Repairing the Paint Protection Film however, is another matter. The yellowing in the Paint Protection Film happens over time and being exposed to the elements for long durations of time. In order to restore the color and clarity of the film it must be polished with a lot of polish and constantly wetting the surface down to keep it cool. The PPF is basically a plastic film that is covering the car. When you heat plastic up it melts. Polishing PPF is a very long process that requires a use of a rotary machine and a light cut wool pad.

What were the problem on this 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S?

This 2005 Porsche 911 was brought to us so we could clean it up after it was shipped to our client. The car looked nice from a distance, but there were some obvious flaws in the finish, including smears and handprints on the paint protection film (PPF).

2013 Lotus Evora – Extremely rare – Ceramic coating & decontamination

My client had always driven BMWs. This is his first Lotus and he absolutely loves it.

Saving my Client Very Important Time

When he first reached out to me, he said his main concern was to get the paint corrected and ceramic coated . He was very curious to understand how ceramic coatings could reduce his time spent cleaning it . His goal at the time was to be able to enjoy driving his 2013 Lotus Evora instead of cleaning it all the time.

His problem was that he just didn’t have the time to attempt to paint correct it and install a ceramic coating.

As I was talking with him, I told him that every vehicles paint is different. I explained that one paint may be extremely soft and susceptible to scratches or marring, while one from another manufacturer could be very durable. Polishing Lotus paint can be a very tedious and time consuming process; a lot of patience is required.

Paint Correction and Exterior Ceramic Coating for this Lotus

The fact is that installing a ceramic coating can be an even more extreme of a process. The paint first has to be cleaned, decontaminated, and polished (this will remove most scratches). All the unwanted layers are removed during this process: old wax, compound, and dealership showroom sprays.

This particular 2013 Lotus Evora had been neglected while sitting at a dealership in Texas. (Look at the decontamination pictures below.) While this was fixable, it did take a significant amount of time to complete the work.

My Client is Now the Envy of his Neighborhood

After we fixed the paint, we installed our 5 Year Ceramic Coating on this Lotus. Now, it looks amazing. It has a glass like finish to the paint and the paint is super slick. He is not the envy of his friends and neighbors.

These pictures show the process of removing all of the contaminants from the paint. The spots that look like oil draining off of the car are in fact old compounds, oils and sealants that have failed and are not protecting the car any more. They have gotten dirty and embedded into the paint and don’t reflect the light anymore. They also cover most blemishes in the paint. This contamination has to be removed so we can see what level of paint correction that needs to be done.

This is a beautiful 2019 Lamborghini URUS. This is Lamborghini’s first move into the SUV market since the 1980s and early 1990s. The LM 002 was called the “Rambo Lambo”. What makes this 2016 Lamborghini Aventador special?

Plain and simple, Lamborghini. This 2016 Lamborghini Aventador Perrelli Special Edition is extremely rare. Lamborghini in and of itself is a rare car company. They are not a production company. This particular version has a limited Suede seat for Perrelli. The paint is a special Matte grey color with a high gloss Black paint on the top of the car. The matte paint itself is about $30k upgrade.

Accessing the damage on this 2016 Lamborghini Aventador

Although this is a 2016 Lamborghini, it is very close to being brand new car it has 4200 miles on it. However it had some micro marring – which is light scratches, in the roof. It looked like this happened when it was owned by the previous owner in Chicago Ill. The good news is with the roof being a normal high gloss paint, it can be repaired.This happens from the car being washed with a pressure washer and then being wiped down with the same towel they have used on several other cars on the lot. This process creates scratches. Another problem, one would be parking lot scratches from the dealership taking of the cars out and scuffing the side doors.

How to fix the problems

However as a note, any matte colored paint can not be polished or corrected. Matte colored paint is a is very different from the requirements of a gloss finish. You should not polish or wax the paint because it will lead to an unwanted shine. Because a clay bar cannot be used on this finish to remove surface contaminants, you need to use a matte paint cleanser. Regular microfiber towels are not suitable for this finish. Instead, the recommendation is that you use sheepskin mitts and cloths. This is so we have a surface that is free of defects.

Work performed

This particular car didn’t have a great deal of damage on it. It has been well cared for most of its life. The whole car was covered in water spots. They had to be removed by a chemical decontamination of all of the paint. The roof also had some scratches in the normal glossy paint. I was able to polish the roof and remove those scratches. With the combination of the black gloss paint and the grey matte finish on the main part of this Lamborghini, the results are stunning.

Wow what a car ! This is a 2017 Acura NSX. I was privileged enough to install Opti-Coat Pro ceramic coating on it. This 2017 Acura NSX is state of the art. It is a hybrid car, but it has everything you could possibly imagine for features. It will almost drive itself.

This 2017Acura NSX is my clients dream car. My client bought this car from the original owner in Las Vegas. When my client contacted me, he mentioned that he was so glad to find a certified ceramic coating installer here in Ocala. Since my client purchased his 2017 Acura NSX in Las Vegas, he was very meticulous about doing his research and not having just anyone work on it. He spoke with several other installers in the local area and didn’t feel comfortable with them. Because of this, he then reached out to me.

I told him the best thing to do would be to protect it with an Opti-Coat coating preferably Pro or Pro Plus . When you install a ceramic coating on top of PPF it actually increases the level of protection. I also told him to investigate every installer he is considering. He should make sure that they are certified by their respective company and actually know what they’re doing.

Services Performed on this 2017 Acura NSX with PPF Installed

The normal installation of Opti-Coat to any paint surface is to first be prepped and polished. This will remove any possible scratches, scuff marks, and contamination that was on the paint prior to applying Opti-Coat Pro Plus .

However, when PPF is already on the paint the polishing of the PPF must be more meticulous. Simply because of extra care must be taken to not allow the film to heat. If this happens it will actually twist and then the only repair is to replace it. At the time of this writing it is nearly impossible to completely eliminate scratches on PPF by polishing it. PPF is becoming more and more resilient as the companies that produce it are becoming more technologically advanced.

Proper polishing to eliminate heat on any paint surface is essential for installing Ceramic Coatings.

Heat is your enemy when polishing paint. The absolute last thing you want is for the paint to get hot. It will cause fracturing or “checking.” When that happens your paint will begin to peel. This same care is done to an even greater extreme when I work with PPF.

Honestly, this should be the same type service that any ceramic coating company should perform before applying their coating. Unfortunately, it is not. Most installers will do the minimum they need to in order to get the car out the door and be paid. That is not our objective. I told my client that he will need to be satisfied and happy with the service performed on his 2017 Acura NSX. Once he was happy with it then payment is taken.

1992 Toyota MR-2

This is a 1992 Toyota MR-2 (no-turbo). This was a Project to say the least. It is very rewarding to get results like this. It had spent most of its life in the scorching heat of Dallas Texas. The paint was beat up pretty bad just from sitting in the hot sun day-in-day out. The Paint was faded to the point that you could hardly tell that the paint is a metallic green. I had to compound the paint to remove the oxidation that had built up over time. I then went through 5 stages of polishing it to bring the color back to what you see now. The products I used were, Pro – Acid Rain Remover to remove oxidation, it also worked as a polish. Then I finished with Zymol Japon paste wax.

Another potential problem is without our ceramic coating, you will have no warranty against Love Bug damage. Dealership programs are not a professional level ceramic coating. Unless it is installed by a licensed Ceramic Coating installer , the product that dealerships have installed on your cars paint is nothing more than a glorified sealant. I was actually talking with my client about another client who she had referred me too and told her he was going to get a ceramic coating on his new Porsche’s. When she asked me what that was and I told her it is a new way of maintaining your car for its life without ever having to wax it again. There is no substitute for being able to take care of your vehicle this way.

2015 Porsche 911 GT3 Super Car Gets Ultimate Protection

Wow what a car. This is a 2015 Porsche 911 GT3. This is one of those super cars that you always read about in Road & Track and Car & Driver.

My client called me to ask some questions about ceramic coatings. He had a couple of friends of his tell him that he needed to investigate having a ceramic coating installed on his new car. After talking with him about the various options, he told me he would like to get Opti-Coat Pro Plus applied to his 2015 Porsche 911 GT3.

What makes this 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 special?

Anytime you are financially able to buy a Porsche, it is always a special occasion. My client told me that this was his first Porsche. The 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 is very rare around this part of the country. He had always wanted a Porsche since he was a kid. My client graduated from medical school a couple of years ago and now he is in a position to reward himself with his dream car. He also told me he was a “car guy” and was always reading and learning new techniques online, so he had tons of questions for me.

Assessing the damage

This particular 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 was in very nice shape. The only exception being underneath the rear wing. This is a section where water would pool and collect in the form of puddles. This formed big calcium deposits on the paint surface underneath the rear wing. There was also some minor swirls and micro marring left over from the previous owner.(look at pictures in gallery)

How to fix the problems

I spoke with my client about all of the ceramic coating options offered by Opti-Coat. In order to fix the calcium deposits under the rear wing, it would require a Chemical Decontamination. I also told him that while part of the ceramic coating service includes a light polish, anything that is needed beyond that would be an extra charge. Midnight Blue Porsche paint is very difficult to bring back to the original clarity and luster. The way to do that is to be very methodical and take your time polishing. The paint can’t be allowed to get hot. It will cause “checking” or “fracturing” which will look like straight line scratches forming crosses (tic tac toe effect). This is so we have a surface that is free of defects. On this 2015 Porsche 911 GT3, he decided to go with Opti-Coat Pro Plus .

Work performed on this 2015 Porsche 911 GT3

This particular car did not have a great deal of damage on it. The scratches and swirls were relatively minor. The calcium deposits under the rear wing was the main problem. I had to do a pretty extensive chemical decontamination and then polish with a 3″ polisher to remove it.

I used Optimum Hyper Intensive polish, which is a medium cut polish with a rotary machine to eliminate all of the severe swirls and scratches. This took a great deal of time. I then cleaned the paint with an IPA solution and then finally coated this vehicle with Opti-Coat Pro Plus. The results are stunning.

2015 Porsche Panamera GTS – Gets Complete Ceramic Protection – Opti-Coat Paint Guard

This is a 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS. My client called me to ask some questions about ceramic coatings. He had a couple of friends of his tell him that he needed to investigate having a ceramic coating installed on his new car. This was because he had bought this Porsche from a dealer out of town without seeing it in person. So, there were bound to be some scratches and swirls in the paint.

What makes this 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS special?

Anytime you are financially able to buy a Porsche, it is always a special occasion. My client told me that this was his first Porsche. While the car was technically his, it would more than likely end up going with his wife. He told me she would take this car to work at the University of Florida. Happy wife happy life, right? He also told me he was a “car guy” and was always reading and learning new techniques online, so he had tons of questions for me.

Assessing the damage

Although this was a used car, a person would normally think that any issues with the paint would be fixed at the dealership selling the car. They were not. Most of the time that the damage has occurred on the dealership property. That is simply from a lack of maintenance by the detail department at the dealership. Most of the damage that occurs at a dealership is from sitting on the lot. This particular 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS had some micro marring – which is light scratches. This happens from the car being washed with a pressure washer and then being wiped down with the same towel they have used on several other cars on the lot. This process creates scratches.

The biggest problem that this 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS had is severe swirls all over the sides of the car and tops of the fenders. This more than likely occurred from an individual attempting to polish out the micro marring and in essence making the paint worse. This usually is from someone using a rotary buffing machine on the paint that does not know how to use one.

How to fix the problems

I spoke with my client about all of the ceramic coating options offered by Opti-Coat. This a 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S4. What a amazing car ! Porsche has a rich tradition of racing. Namely the 24 hour races at Le Mans and Daytona. 2015 AMG Mercedes C400 – Paint Correction – Inept Hands Create Misery

This is a 2015 AMG Mercedes C400. This is a beautiful 2015 AMG Mercedes C400 that was unfortunately left in inexperienced hands. This created some major anguish for everyone involved at one of our local car washes. The swirls and holograms are the end result of such care. When I spoke with my client about the situation, he told me that he had just taken it in to one of our local car washes. He told them he wanted to have it polished and protected because it was looking dull. He was upset beyond the point that most people, I think, could understand.

This is special AMG version of 2015 Mercedes C400 sedan.

The AMG in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle actually stands for two of the founders; Hans-Werner Aufrect , and Erhard Melcher . The “G” at the end is for Großaspach , which is their birthplace. Altogether, the AMG stands for “ Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach ”, which makes a bit more sense than some of the other explanations the public had come up with! The AMG lineup has its origin rooted in racing history. The AMG trims are higher trims in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, and generally have more power, better performance, and more features than a trim that is not AMG.

Having properly trained Technicians is a must !!

What makes this so disappointing is the fact that it seems absolutely no care was taken in the preparation of the surface before putting a rotary machine on the paint. That being said, if a detail technician is properly trained , he should know how to properly use a rotary machine. However, once they know, a good technician can make the paint of any car become fabulous.

Accessing the Damage of the 2015 AMG Mercedes C400

I met with my client to discuss the damage and our course of action regarding this 2015 AMG Mercedes C400. We discussed several options including Opti-Coat Pro and Pro Plus ceramic coatings . We also discussed just fixing the paint and putting a sealant on the paint for the time being. He decided to go with fixing the paint and adding a sealant for the time being. He told me he had just spent $200 for the car wash to polish the paint and he was apprehensive to pay to have it done again. I told him that I don’t work like that. We agree on a price and well defined service at the beginning before any work has begun. Then, only at the end when we both agree that the work that has been done to my clients (your) satisfaction, does any payment take place.

Paint Correction Work Performed

The paint correction repair of this fiasco was extensive. The holograms were unfortunately just the beginning. As I got into correcting the paint I started to find a lot of micro abrasions in the paint. These are in essence very small straight-line scratches almost looking like a tic-tac-toe pattern on the paint. This occurs when a dual action (DA) polisher is used along with a dirty pad.

To fix this the first step is to measure the paint thickness. This will help me make sure there is enough paint to work with. Next is to lightly compound the surface. This will remove a majority of the micro abrasions and give an even surface. Next is to polish and restore the color. Incidentally, that was what my client wanted in the first place. The final step is actually the most time consuming. You can’t rush the process. Most don’t realize that when a machine is placed on vehicle paint and left in one spot, the paint in that particular area will start to heat. When that happens you can fracture the paint and make it crack, so the polishing process needs to be slow and methodical. This will restore the luster and depth of color to the paint. Incidentally, I think the results speak for themselves.

1973 Mercedes 450 SL – Rare Classic Mercedes – Reflection Pro Services

Wow! It was an absolute privilege to be able to work on such a gem of a vehicle. This is a 1973 Mercedes 450 SL. It is extremely difficult to find a Mercedes 450 SL in this condition. Over the years these cars have been chopped up and used as track cars. Some have just been beat into the ground. This particular Mercedes 450 SL has seen its share of miles over the years, but it has been pretty well taken care of. The new owner is meticulous about making sure anything that gets replaced and fixed comes directly from the Mercedes factory in Germany.

When the owner contacted me he said it had light scratches and swirls in the finish that he wanted to be removed. It was not bad but it was enough to be an annoyance for him.

We discussed several options, from a stage one paint correction to Optimum Polymer Technologies paint coatings . He decided that with the age of this Mercedes 450 SL he wanted to get it as close to factory specs as possible. Because of this, the client then decided on our stage one paint correction .

There were some minor scratches in the hood, roof, and rear deck lid. I was able to fix them by using my Flex rotary polishing machine. It left everything swirl free with a deep mirror finish. Most detailers today use a dual action DA polisher because they are basically the easiest polisher to use. It takes virtually no skill to use one. Consequently, terms like “micro- marring” didn’t exist before the dual action polisher came on the scene.

I used Optimum Polymer Technologies hyper paint correction system for this particular job. I finished the final step with Swissvax Concorso paste wax. It left an absolutely brilliant shine.

2017 Mercedes AMG GLE 63 – Beautiful Ride – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2017 Mercedes AMG GLE 63. It is rare to actually have one of these vehicles in our area. There are several Mercedes being driven in our area, but very few are of the AMG variety. This Mercedes AMG GLE 63 is stunningly beautiful. Mercedes as a company continues to impress. The fit and finish of this vehicle is second to none. Every attention to detail has been addressed, right down to the different color of stitching holding the leather seats together.

My client replaced her Escalade with this Mercedes AMG GLE 63. She said she actually had to go to the Mercedes dealership to attend a two hour class on how to use and program this Mercedes AMG GLE 63. Remember when you could just use your key put it in the ignition and turn the key.

One of the things I always discuss with every client is their specific needs and concerns regarding their particular vehicle. In this case she has 2 small children and was concerned about the carpet and upholstery getting destroyed. I explained to her that I have and interior coating and leather coating that will solve that problem. Both are made by Optimum Polymer Technologies and they both carry a 5 year warranty. She decided to put on both the interior and leather. One month later her 3 year old spilled milk on the carpet in the back, and it was left there until they got home. I came by to do the normal detail for her when she told me about it. I went to the dried milk spill and literally picked at it enough to grab it then peel it up in one piece.

The paint work on this beautiful vehicle is exquisite. It is almost flawless. When we had discussed the fabric and leather coatings, I also mentioned coating the paint as well with Opti-Coat Pro Plus, but since she was already having the interior done, she decided against the paint coating. We instead used Zymol Titanium sealant. The Zymol Titanium produces great protection for your vehicle and is designed for vehicles that see a lot of road miles.

2017 Mercedes AMG G63 Limited

This is a 2017 Mercedes AMG G63. This is a very special and extremely rare vehicle. One of the best selling points with all Mercedes AMG G63 version vehicles is the attention to detail in the manufacturing and building of any vehicle the company produces. This starts with building the vehicle to your specific wants and needs at the factory in Stuttgart Germany and ending with the signature of the inspector placed on the lower right corner of the windshield.

This particular Mercedes AMG G63 was specifically designed to be one the most rare Mercedes AMG63’s ever built. It is 1 of only 3 in the world. One of the other two lives in Beverly Hills California and the other one lives in Saudi Arabia. After paying cash, the owner had to wait for 11 months for the paint to be manufactured. The paint is only produced once every 4 years and then only sprayed in one specific week of the year. It is a special $20,000 matt finish paint which means it can not be washed with traditional car soaps and can not be waxed with traditional waxes. It can not have any type of machine used on the paint. If a machine were ever used on the paint it would forever damage the paint and require a repaint which, with a vehicle of this nature, would totally destroy any value that it might have.

For paint of this nature I used a special blend of soap and paste wax from Swissvax that does not have any brighteners in it but it still will bead and give protection. It is a very exhaustive process. The paint first must be washed with special matt soap. Next is decontaminating the paint. Since nothing like clay can be used, a chemical decontamination is necessary. For this I used Swissvax Opaque pre cleaner. This left the paint ready to accept the Swissvax Opaque wax.

This whole process is our Concors High End Detail package. From start to finish, the whole process depending on the vehicle age and condition can take between 8-14 hours. 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF-Opti-Coat Pro-Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF Edition. This is a stunning little car. Mazda has come a long way in their design and workmanship. The 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF was designed as a combination of the 1960’s Lotus Elan, Triumph TR4, and MGB Sprint cars. Britain was well known for these cars. They were a lot of fun to drive when they weren’t broken down.

Mazda’s plan was to bring back the fun of driving a quick little convertible and have the reliability of a Japanese car company. When the Mazda MX-5 first came out in 1990, it became the car of the year by Car and Driver and Motor Trend. Mazda effectively eliminated all the mechanical design flaws of Lotus, Triumph and MGB. However, they did not succeed with the paint in the early 1990’s. Countless cars had to be repainted because the paint would literally peel off of the metal surfaces.

Fast forward to 2018. This Mazda MX-5 RF is an amazing combination of quickness and styling. The Mazda paint finish now rivals that of Mercedes, Porsche, and Audi. Given the history of Mazda’s paint issues, the owner of this Mazda MX-5 RF was very concerned about the the paint pealing like the MX-5 cars of the past. He wanted to protect it with the best coating on the market today.

Optimum Polymer Technologies are the original coating creators. The chief Chemist and CEO of the company designed the chemical makeup for DuPont paint and was their chief chemist for 30 years. Opti Coat Pro is a very high end paint coating. On vehicles 5 years old or newer, Opti Coat will warranty any defects that may occur during that time. Even though this Mazda MX-5 is new, the process on this car is still rather involved. The whole process usually takes about 8-10 hours. The application of Opti Coat Pro takes about 1-2 hours. The rest of the time is spent restoring or fixing the paint to be nearly flawless. The thing I tell everyone is to remember that a paint coating is essentially another layer of clear coat going on your paint. This coating is much stronger than your regular clear coat because of the way it is chemically designed. This is a 2013 Lincoln MKX. It was in pretty good condition to start with, but it still had some scuff marks from running it through multiple tunnel washes. Most people don’t realize the damage that a tunnel wash will do to a car’s finish. The soap that must be used to clean a vehicle, has to be harsh enough to blast away dirt and grime in a matter of a couple minutes. It has to be caustic in nature. Now imagine something that strong sitting on your vehicle’s finish.

Tunnel Washes will destroy your Vehicle’s finish without proper protection

Have you ever thought, whenever you go to a “carwash”, why are they always trying to sell me that stupid wax upgrade? After all you just wanted to get your car washed. That’s it. The answer to the question is, the detailers at the car wash, know that when you get home you will see that your car is actually dull as opposed to being shiny. The caustic wash that they have to use will do that. The only way for you to get the shine back is to re-wax it. Chances are also, that the wax they use will not last very long maybe a month if that.

2012 Lincoln MKX

This project was for a 2012 Lincoln MKX. Very nice SUV. My client had purchased this Lincoln from a lease company in central Florida. I’m sure most people realize, vehicles that are typically leased, have usually been abused. This particular Lincoln was about average for a lease vehicle. My client, being an insurance agent, is very particular about how they present themselves. Image is very important to them. This of course carries over to their vehicle as well.

When I got to look at this Lincoln, it had a variety of road damage on it, from bug damage to some minor scratches. The main damage being the front passenger side wheel well. it had side swiped by someone in a parking lot and as usually happens the culprit left. i was able to do a full paint correction on it and bring it back to the original color and brilliance.

After discussing all the issues with my client, we decided to do a complete paint correction on the passenger side wheel well and a presidential detail on the rest of this vehicle. We prepped with Zymol HD Cleanse and finished off with Zymol Titanium sealer wax.

2011 Lexus ES 350

This a 2011 Lexus ES 350 that we finished recently. Being a mobile detailer means I can bring everything to your location and do it while you are at work. It was in decent shape to start with, but it ended up being a full paint correction . The owner didn’t realize what kind of damage, taking your car through a automatic car wash does to the paint. Most automatic car washes are brutal on your vehicles paint. Weather it is an automatic with brushes or brush-less. They will wreck your cars paint.

Imagine you are getting ready to go through the car wash the vehicle going through in front of you is a filthy muddy pick-up. the brushes in the car wash have just washed this truck and now are going to put those same brushes your vehicles paint with little to no time wash the brushes off. Those brushes are now taking that dirt from the previous pick-up and putting on your paint. Effectively scratching your vehicles paint. The next time you go through one get out of the vehicle and get down beside your vehicle and look down the side at an angle in the sun you will see scratches in the sides. It is very noticeable on dark colored vehicles.

Touch-less car washes are not quite as bad, but they also damage paint by the harshness of the chemicals they have to use. They have to use a harsh chemical to strip the dirt off of the paint and allow the pressure of the water to wash the rest off. The problem with this is over time it dulls the paint significantly.

For this peticular Lexus ES 350 the process used was 5 separate stages of cleaning, scratch removal, polishing, and finally finishing it all off with Swissvax Mirrage wax.

The finished result? Something more akin to an exterior finish that the owner could be proud of.

2014 Lexus GS 350 F Sport

This is a paint correction project for a 2014 Lexus GS 350 F Sport. The owner had taken this beautiful car into the Lexus dealership for service and they give him a “courtesy ” wash. What ended up happening was they damaged the paint! In the end I did a full paint correction on it.

I have a question, is it really a “courtesy wash” if after they have done it, you then have to go and have someone fix it? Just sayin !

I had to do a full paint correction on the hood, roof, doors, rear deck lid -especially bad- and both the rear quarter panels, basically the whole car. The process of doing paint correction can vary from vehicle to vehicle. The degree of severity can vary greatly. Unfortunately Lexus paint is by comparison the most difficult paint to work with world wide. This is includes all exotic cars from Bentley to Mclaren.

Lexus paint is extremely susceptible to scratching. Through normal daily driving, keeping Lexus paint scratch free can become a full time job. For this piticular Lexus the scratches had been induced by a local Lexus dealership when they used a dirty car wash brush and dirty car wash soap – soap needed to be changed. This process put very deep scratches in the car’s hood and rear deck lid.

In order to repair this there were several steps involved. First was to decontaminate and re-level the surface this will yeild a very smooth finish. Second was to compound out the scratches. This in essence, takes the existing paint down to the level of the scratches. This is also where a skilled Detail Technician can shine. Because they know the limits of the existing paint. Once compounding is done, Polishing was the third step. Polishing will bring back the color to the most brilliant deep gloss that the cars paint can deliver. This will be a gloss that you should be able to not only see your reflection, but the color of you clothes. Literally like when you see your reflection in a mirror. This also is the most time consuming of the paint correction process. The final step would be to lock in the color that has just been restored. That involves a very high quality carnuba wax. For this Lexus I used Menzerna Color Lock. It delivers an absolutely beautiful shine.

This is a 2021 Kia Telluride I completed for one of my clients. This was a dream vehicle for my client, as she has had Kia vehicles for the past 20 years and has always loved them. Having recently retired, my client wants this Kia Telluride to be the last vehicle she owns. So, it is very special to her.

Even after we started, our decontamination process can uncover other issues

This is really important because in order for a ceramic coating to work as designed the paint must be nearly perfect and prepared as such. As we were performing the decontamination on the we discovered a previous ceramic coating had been applied. This Ceramic Coating had failed. (notice the pictures marked below) This can happen from time to time. Most often it occurs from an inexperienced installer. Either the paint wasn’t prepared right or the install of their Ceramic Coating was put on to thin.

The End results are fabulous

Now that we are finished with this 2017 Jaguar F-Type S, the results are fabulous. We were able to make his vehicle easier to maintain in a matter of a couple of days. He now has much more leisure time.

2015 Jaguar F-Type S. This is a sports car gem that has been rediscovered. This is a gem that needed to be unwrapped and discovered again. Like the present it was meant to be. Jaguar F-Type S cars have a very unique mixture of power and elegance. This is an amazing ride for sure.

Assessing the damage

As I spoke with our client, I told him we can always do just a paint correction . Although it really doesn’t make sense to do all that work and not protect it for the long term. Our client had some minor scratches he wanted to have fixed on this Jaguar F-Type S before we installed the ceramic coating. As we talked he mentioned to me that he and his wife don’t keep car that long, but he wanted as much protection he could get for the cost.

One of the few 2000 Isuzu Rodeo’s to Receive Love and Care

Wow this is a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo. It must be at least 15 years since I have even seen an Isuzu rodeo. This 2000 Isuzu Rodeo still looks new after 17 years. I thought they had been crushed when the government issued a incentive for the citizens of the United States to trade their old vehicles in at the big new vehicle dealerships for new vehicles at major discounted rates. The deals were so good that everyone was bringing in anything with 4 wheels and a seat. Then those vehicles were then sent to a salvage yard and crushed. A lot of Isuzu’s were a part of that effort.

This is one of the rare ones that didn’t succumb to that terrible fate. It has been very well taken care of. The owner been has meticulous about maintenance and repair. As with anything if you take care of something, chances are, it will take care of you.

2020 Infiniti QX60 gets Ceramic Coated for one of our US Military Vets

This 2020 Infiniti QX60 gets Ceramic Coating for one of our US Military Vets. It is such a privilege to be able to work with our veterans. They do so much for us as a country and seem to get very little respect. I for one would like to say a big Thank you for all that our veterans have done for us.

My client called me to ask some questions about ceramic coatings . He and his wife had just bought this 2020 Infiniti QX60. After doing some research, they decided they would like to get a ceramic coating applied to their new car.

Explaining the differences between the other ceramic coating companies

He asked me what the differences were between all of the companies. I told him that while there seems to be a new ceramic coating company popping up every 2-3 weeks (exaggeration), most of them are very similar. I told him there are basically 3 different types of ceramic coatings on the market today.

He had a couple of friends of his tell him that he needed to investigate having a ceramic coating installed on his new car. After talking with him about the various options, he told me he would like to get Owners Pride Ceramic applied to his 2020 Infiniti QX60.

Assessing the damage on this 2020 Infiniti QX60

This particular 2020 Infiniti QX60. was in very nice shape. There was also some minor swirls and micro marring left over from the dealership when they prepared the car for their lot.

How to fix the problems

I spoke with my client about all of the ceramic coating options offered by Owners Pride . In order to fix the micro marring it would require a stage 1 polish. This would remove the damage left by the dealership and restore the original color and luster of the paint. I also told him that while part of the ceramic coating service includes a light polish, anything that is needed beyond that would be an extra charge.

Infiniti Gunmetal Grey paint is very difficult to bring back to the original clarity and luster. The way to do that is to be very methodical and take your time polishing. The paint can’t be allowed to get hot. It will cause “checking” or “fracturing” which will look like straight line scratches forming crosses (tic tac toe effect). This is so we have a surface that is free of defects. On his Infiniti QX60, he decided to go with Owners Pride Ceramic.

Work performed on this 2020 Infiniti QX60

This particular car did not have a great deal of damage on it. The scratches and swirls were relatively minor. I used Optimum Hyper Intensive polish, which is a medium cut polish with a rotary machine to eliminate all of the severe swirls and scratches. This took a great deal of time. I then cleaned the paint with an IPA solution and then finally coated this vehicle with Owners Pride 7 Year Ceramic. The results are stunning.

2014 Hyundai Tucson

This is a 2014 Hyundai Tucson Limited which ended up needing to have a full paint correction done on it. This has been taken care of with Swissvax from day one. The owner is very meticulous. It gets washed with Optimum No Rinse every 2 weeks without fail. She has a Concours High End Detail done on it every 3 months. Which for a Hyundai Tucson Limited, typically, is not done very often.

She had taken it into the local Hyundai dealer for just a normal oil change. That is when the fiasco started. After making an appointment a week earlier she still had to wait more than 2 hours for a normal oil change. She told the services manager at the dealership DO NOT wash the vehicle, no matter what.

Because she had to wait so long for the oil change, they washed it anyway. In doing so, the detailer apparently had not changed the soap water in their wash bucket from the previous cars, and put brush scratches in the paint. The scratches covered both sides of the vehicle from front to the back.

In order to fix this I had to do a full paint correction on it. Since from day one we had used Swissvax products on it that is what I used to correct the now heavily scratched paint. I started by using detailers clay to remove any top surface contaminates that were left by the dirty soap water and brush. By using my various tools for paint correcting, I was able to use Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Medium, which had to be worked into the paint to eliminate the scratches. When this process is done, the paint must then be polished to bring back the brilliance of the paint’s color. Then finally I finished by applying Swissvax Mirrage by hand.

It was 3 stages of prep and finished off with Swissvax Mirrage wax. You can see by the pictures that the Hyundai paint responds very well to a very nice high quality service

2006 Hummer H2 Timeless American Icon Complete Detail

This is a 2006 Hummer H2. This is an American Icon that has stood the test of time. Its hard to believe that this 2006 Hummer H2 is 12 years old. It really doesn’t look more than 1-2 years old. It is always a blast for me to be able to work on these vehicles. They are red white and blue American all the way. It is really amazing how this manufacturer came into existence.

Birth of the Hummer H1

On January 2, 1985, the first Hummer rolled off the assembly line as a standard military vehicle, but it wasn’t until 1992 before we would first see the civilian Hummer we all know today. Dubbed “the world’s most serious 4×4”, the Hummer’s longevity, mobility and high performance have been big selling points since its inception. In 1999 I had the privilege of managing the detail department for Hummer of Orlando. I was able to see first hand how big these Hummers actually were. It wasn’t until 1992 before that we first saw the civilian Hummer we all know today.

Birth of the Hummer H2

After an agreement between AM General and General Motors Corporation was finalized in 1999, exclusive rights of the Hummer brand passed to GM, resulting in the original Hummer’s renaming to the Hummer H1, and paving the way for release of the H2 in 2002 and the H3 in 2005. Today its almost like the H1 didn’t even exist. You just don’t see them any more. When General Motors bought the rights to the Hummer franchise, they improved the fit and finish dramatically. There were multiple times I would go to get an H1 ready for delivery to a customer and find metal shavings in the carpet.

After inspecting this H2 I was surprised at was there was really no need for any type of paint correction . Usually on a vehicle of this age and type, there are scratches everywhere. This 2006 Hummer H2 is in very nice shape. I used Optimum Polymer Technologies Poly Seal and wax and the conditioned the leather with Colony Hide Food from London England. My client also mentioned that since I am a mobile auto detail company it is very convenient for her. I can come by her place of business and detail her vehicle while she is at work.

2004 Hummer H2 – Still Impressive – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2004 Hummer H2. What a great truck. As I sit here writing this, this is 2017 so this Hummer is 13 years old. It is still impressive after all thease years. It really does not look a day over 3 years old. The owner absolutely loves this 2004 Hummer, but had not gotten it detailed in over a year.

Deciding on the level of service for this Hummer

When we disused the services she was wanting to have done, I discovered through our conversation, that she had been using this Hummer to transport her dogs. All 16 of them. So needless to say, there was a fair amount of dog hair to remove. (note to self I need to take before and after pictures) I was so focused on removing the dog hair I forgot the before pics. Before I got started, we discussed several options from our line of ceramic coatings to our custom luxury detail. She decided on a custom detail package .

New Hummer arrives in 2021

One of the dealerships I had worked at in my beginning years was Hummer of Orlando back in 1999. When AM General owned Hummer the quality and workmanship left a lot to be desired. When GM bought it they improved the quality exponentially. Unfortunately GM dropped the manufacturing of the Hummer line in 2010 after a 20 year run. As of October 2020 there will be a new Hummer coming out in 2021.

Chemical Decontamination and Paint Correction

Once I finally got started, the whole detail actually came together pretty well. The dog hair removal took a majority of the time on the interior. I did a decontamination and one step polish and wax on the exterior. Yellow is one of those colors that can be difficult to get a reflection out of. I used OPT wax as a final step and it came out very nice.

This is a 2004 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 from one of our clients. They wanted a ceramic coating , paint correction and general care, to help beautify and protect the car. It had been generally kept in a garage in North Jersey. The car had imperfections in the paint, which affected the shine and overall look of the vehicle.

What are the problems?

The original owner had kept it in fairly good condition. It didn’t look great, but you could tell they tried to keep it up themselves. Probably, using standard car washes or manual washing techniques.

Micro Marring

However, when I brought out the high intensity lights to shine on the 2004 Ford Mustang GT 5.0, a lot of micro-marring showed up. This most likely was from using a dirty wash brush or wash mitt. It also could be from wiping the car down with a California Duster, as well. All of those thing are bad news for a vehicles paint.

Paint Correction work

Once I completed the paint correction work, I then went on to apply our industry leading Owners Pride ceramic coating to the car. It took about 8 hours to bring it back to the original shine. The results made the car look amazing! The owner was so excited to have this gem of a car with a like new finish. As well as, have confidence that its exterior will be protected for years to come.

Now this Client is the Envy of his friends!

What makes this 2020 Ford Shelby F-150 so special?

I had no idea Shelby even made an F-150 Edition. This is a sweet ride, without a doubt. Anytime you are financially able to buy a 2020 Ford Shelby F-150, it is always a special occasion. My client told me that this was her first Shelby edition car she had owned. The 2020 Ford Shelby F-150 is very rare around this part of the country. My client has been in the thoroughbred horse business for a very long time. She figured this Shelby F-150 would be a great vehicle to use for picking up feed and traveling for business. The level of comfort is stunning inside.

Questions about Ceramic Car Coating Services on this 2020 Ford Shelby F-150

My client called me to ask some questions about ceramic coatings. She had a couple of friends of hers tell her that she needed to investigate having a ceramic coating installed on her new truck. Assessing and fixing the damage

This 2020 Ford Shelby F-150 is essentially coming off a showroom. It did have some very small water spots which are calcium deposits but they were minor and came out with a chemical decontamination wash. I spoke with my client about all of the ceramic coating options we offer. I also told him that while part of the ceramic coating service includes a light polish, anything that is needed beyond that would be an extra charge. Shelby Edition Paint can be very soft and will heat up very quickly if it is not monitored closely.

How to fix the damage

The way to do that is to be very methodical and take your time polishing. The paint can’t be allowed to get hot. It will cause “checking” or “fracturing” which will look like straight line scratches forming crosses (tic tac toe effect). This is so we have a surface that is free of defects. On this 2020 Ford Shelby F-150 she decided to go with our 7 year Ceramic Coating from Owners Pride.

This particular car did not have a great deal of damage on it. The scratches and swirls were relatively minor. I used Optimum Hyper Intensive polish, which is a medium cut polish with a rotary machine to eliminate all of the severe swirls and scratches. This took a great deal of time. I then cleaned the paint with an IPA solution and then finally coated this vehicle with our 7 year Ceramic Coating by Owners Pride . The results are stunning.

This is a 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 Track Edition. I had the privilege of installing Opti-Coat Paint Guard on this incredible car. 2017 Ford Mustang GT – Opti-Coat Pro Plus – Year Round Protection

This is a 2017 Ford Mustang GT Limited. It is truly beautiful. My client actually had to go out of town to find this 2017 Ford Mustang GT. The limited edition paint on this 2017 Ford Mustang GT is actually a limited color run for Ford in 2017. It is Lightning Blue. I’m guessing Tampa Bay Lightning ? It is I think, coincidental my client is a Tampa Bay Lightning fan as well. My client called to discuss with me what he wanted done. We talked about what his options were. As we talked, I discovered that he is a “car guy” meaning he is very particular about everything to do with his 2017 Ford Mustang GT. He had bought everything he could find at all major detail suppliers with the idea that at some point he would find something that really worked long term.

Opti-Coat Ceramic Coating or Paint Protection Film

We talked about Ceramic Coatings and Paint Protection Film (PPF) . If you are looking for protection from rock chips, then PPF is the way to go. Incidentally if you click on the link for PPF , it will take you to a friend of mine that has been doing window tint and PPF since 1985 . Mark is the absolute best in the Ocala Marion county area. Installation of Opti-Coat Pro Plus Ceramic Coating on 2017 Ford Mustang GT

The installation process of any ceramic coating is quite long. Clients are usually stunned at how long and intricate the installation is. Opti -Coat Pro Plus is no different. This was a brand new 2017 Ford Mustang GT when he bought it. It still had some micro marring from the dealership that needed to be removed. I achieved this by polishing the light scratches out of the paint. When I got done with it the paint had an amazing gloss and every scratch was removed. Part of the Opti-Coat service installation is to remove light scratches. When a vehicle has deep scratches we have to charge and extra fee because it requires more time. After the polishing we have to completely remove polish, and old wax then decontaminate the paint surface. All this must be done to allow the coating to bond with the molecular structure of the paint.

2012 Ford Flex – Splattered house paint on your car? I can fix it – Paint Correction

This is a 2012 Ford Flex. This particular job was a rare case. This is the case of the splattered house paint. My client was having his house painted when the wind caught caught the paint in the air and it landed on the his 2012 Ford Flex.

My client’s son found our website on google, and called me. The son was a former body shop painter and told me through his experience it would probably need to be wet-sanded out. In order to bring it back to original color and clarity. Both the owner and the painter were understandably upset. The owner because his car is now damaged, and the painter, because he is now thinking, he is going to have to buy a new paint job.

Fortunately, we were able to work the paint splatter out by doing a 3 stage paint correction . This type of job requires a great deal of time to remove the paint splatter. The reason for this is, in order to remove the paint splatter, a solvent based cleaner needs to be used. Unfortunately the house paint that was being used, was a fast drying house paint. Couple that with the extreme heat in north central Florida, 100+ degree heat, and 2 days later, the only option was to compound it out.

After experimenting with multiple compounds, we finally decided on using heavy cut compound from Swissvax Mechanic Paint Repair. This is such heavy compound, the only safe way to apply it, is by the tips of your fingers rubbing it into the spot to remove the paint splatter.

Now finally I was able to start polishing this 2012 Ford Flex paint. I was actually quite surprised by how this Ford paint responded, when I started polishing it. After using Swissvax to prep and remove the defects and contamination, I switched to the Rupes variety of polishes and results were nothing short of impressive.

2015 Rouch Charged Mustang

This is a 2015 Rouch Charged Mustang. What an Amazing Car !! I had know idea that Ford could produce such a car.

The owner had taken it to the local dealership for routine maintenance. The dealership then decided it would be a good idea to wash it as a courtesy. Bad Idea !! I can’t begin to say how many times I have come across this particular scenario. The detailers at dealerships are never given proper training on how to properly wash a car. After having run the detail departments in dealerships in Orlando and Atlanta for four years, it all goes back to the manager training his detailers properly. However, so many issues can be resolved by proper training.

This started as a basic wash and wax but evolved quickly.

This car had scratches all over it. Some were minor, others were relatively deep. The process to remove them can vary from vehicle to vehicle. Car manufacturers are producing a variety of different types of paint, based on what the particular vehicle was designed for.

The process for this car involved 4 stages of treatment, from Clay Bar treatment, IPA wipe down to eliminate all previous polishes and waxes from the paint. This allows the new wax to properly bond to the paint. I finally finished with OPT Hyper-polish, and Poli-seal.

2019 Ferrari 488 GT in Ocala Gets Much Needed Love With Our Ceramic Coating

After finishing the evaluation, we formulated a plan to correct the issues the Ferrari had so it would look great again. We polished his Ferrari 488 GT to near perfection. Then, we gave it a 1-year ceramic coating.

2013 Ferrari 548 Spyder – Ocala Exotic Car Detailing

This is a 2013 Ferrari 548 Spyder I recently worked on in Ocala. This is the definition of an exotic car. I have to tell you … it is absolutely stunning!

The owner had just purchased it from a Lamborghini dealership in Florida. I was actually quite surprised at the lack of quality and finish the detail department that Lamborghini had left this Ferrari in. Compound residue was left inside the air vents in the engine bay. The engine had not been detailed and there were water spots everywhere on the car.

Needless to say the owner was not pleased. He told me, “when you spend the kind of money that this car commands, I would expect better fit and finish.”

The definition of an exotic car is, “a very rare, pristine, luxury and unusual high end sports car“. This car is every bit of that and more.

After inspecting everything on this car and going over the services I offer, we agreed to do a Concours High End detail which is a perfect service for this car. It is a very thorough and meticulous cleaning of every area of the car.

I started cleaning the engine bay and engine all by hand. The owner was obviously very nervous about getting water anywhere near the engine, so I wiped every hose, every housing, and every wire with optimum no rinse and a towel. Any plastic housing or rubber wiring was then sealed with Opti-Seal. Finally, the painted surfaces in the engine bay were polished and waxed. Doing this all by hand took about three hours. The majority of the time was spent removing the compound from the intake vents in the engine bay.

I then started on the exterior paint. One of the reasons a detail of this nature is as expensive as it is, is because of all the air vents, induction cowls and very small areas. It is nearly impossible to get a normal machine to polish in those areas. Specialty tools are required. Which require specialized training. Using these tools allows me to put a mirror finish on those areas. I was then able to wax this Ferrari with Swissvax Crystal Rock which is the highest quality wax available in the world.

2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pak will be the envy at car shows

This client came to us wanting to have his brand new Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pak look like a million bucks. He goes to car shows regularly and wanted it to turn heads. His goal was for it to gain the praise and envy of his friends and neighbors.

This car is a looker for sure. One of the nicest muscle car projects we have done. Clean lines, curves in all the right places and a tiger under that hood. It is an amazing car to look at and incredible when it comes to performance. It deserves the treatment he gave it.

This 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pak was the first car he had spent a significant amount of money on. He has wanted one since they came out in the 1960’s. So, he wants to make sure that it not only looks good, but is also protected for years to come.

2018 Dodge Challenger RT – Ceramic Coatings – Why Opti-Coat

This is a 2018 Dodge Challenger RT. These cars are really cool. My client has always wanted one after Dodge reintroduced the Challenger. My client called me after looking through my website. He bought this car with the idea that he would get a ceramic coating installed. My client had conversations with several other ceramic coating installers in the area. He was surprised no one could answer any specific questions about the product they were selling. I told him most installers are not even certified by the company they are selling the ceramic coating for. I am different because I have training and certification.

What makes this 2018 Dodge Challenger RT special ?

Anytime you are able to buy a car it’s always a special occasion. I remember the first car I personally ever bought myself. It was a great day no matter what kind of condition it was in. We always have the idea that whatever is wrong with it “I can Fix it.” Of course, that isn’t always the case. Most of the time the repairs are attempted and never completed. Although this is a “used” 2018 Dodge Challenger RT, it is in exceptional shape. This 2018 Dodge Challenger RT was a perfect candidate for our Opti-Coat Pro Plus ceramic coating treatment.

Accessing any Damage on this 2018 Dodge Challenger RT

Although this is a relatively new car, there were still some scuff marks, scratches, and of course bug damage. Living in Florida love bug damage on a unprotected paint surface is inevitable. This car had some damage but not bad. Most of the damage is in the lower front bumper where the car gets hit with everything when it is traveling on local highways. This 2018 Dodge Challenger RT had some micro marring – which are light scratches. This happens from the car being washed with a traditional car wash soap and then being wiped down with a traditional chamois. This process creates scratches. Optimum No Rinse is the best alternative to traditional car wash and chamois. Another problem would be parking lot scratches, mostly because of shopping carts.

How to fix the problems

Most of the problems I have mentioned above are for the most part normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear issues are usually fixable. Anything beyond that and it just depends on the level of repair to be done. I also told him about 90% of any bug damage is there to stay. The only way you can fix most bug damage is to have the surface repainted.

On our initial conversation I was able to speak with my client about all of the ceramic coatings offered by Opti-Coat . On this 2018 Dodge Challenger RT, he decided to go with our premium ceramic coating, Opti-Coat Pro Plus . It is the absolute best of the best. I told him part of the ceramic coating process will be to polish out all of the micro-marring in the paint. This is so we have a surface that is free of defects.

2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel – Car Paint Correction

This is a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel. This was a pretty extensive car Paint Correction job. It had serious “wheel marks” from a Rotary High Speed Buffer. These marks can look like a Spiderweb. This often comes from a technician, not having been properly trained on using a Rotary High Speed Buffer. Rotary High Speed Buffers typically take a great deal of practice and training to master. As you can see from the pictures, they can do a great deal of damage. This requires a significant amount of time to fix.

This particular car paint correction job took about 7 hours to complete. I take my time with it, because when you rush a project just to get it out of door, mistakes can happen.

A paint correction job will almost always involve several steps. This job was no different. I started with a simple wash, using Optimum No Rinse. I followed with a Contaminate removal process to remove any ‘fall-out, rail dust, iron deposits” that will embed themselves into the paint finish over time. When I’m done the surface fells silky smooth. Then the process of removing the wheel marks begins. The next step consists of choosing the right combination of Pad and Compound, Polish and wax . If you don’t choose the right combination, you will end up with results very similar to the before pictures below.

Over the years I have used a lot of different companies compound and polishes . Lately, I have been using a combination of Optimum Polymer Technologies, and Rupes Corporation from Italy. They both are excellent companies, and they produce phenomenal products.

On this Job I used a combination of both. I used Optimum Polymer Technologies Hyper Compound, then used Rupes Ultra Hard Surface compound /polish, and then finished with Black Fire paste wax from Palm Beach Motoring.

1997 Dodge Viper GTS

This is a 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. It has been a privilege to be able to work on such a car. The 1997 GTS is the most sought after Viper. Absolutely stunning. It was produced on a very limited basis. The 1997 Dodge Viper GTS had been his dream car since it had first come out. The owner was (and is) very protective of it. The paint had some minor scuffs and scratches on it. Because the car is so rare, I didn’t feel comfortable putting a machine on it. It also made the owner more at ease, so everything was polished and waxed by hand.

I did a Concours High End Detail on this 1997 Viper. This Detail includes Interior and Exterior.

Interior

Every crack and crevice on the interior is cleaned and conditioned. The treads on the seats to the frame of the seats is cleaned. The leather itself is cleaned and conditioned with Hide Food Leather system. I have it shipped in to the USA from London England.

Exterior

The process for this Viper involved 4 stages of treatment, from Detailer’s Clay, Polishing by hand (very time consuming), IPA wipe down to eliminate all previous polishes and waxes from the paint. This allows the new wax to properly bond to the paint. Then finally finishing with Zymol Titanium.

At the end of the day, while the level of involvement is extreme for most people, I hope this gives everyone an idea of what I can do. Thank you so much for taking the time read this post.

2008 Corvette 8 Second Car – The Villages, FL Ceramic Coatings

This 2008 Corvette is an 8 second car that hails from The Villages, FL. (Meaning, it covers the quarter mile in 8 seconds.) My client has made several modifications to the car, including to the engine and exhaust system. This has been a really fun project for him and he’s definitely proud of it.

When he first reached out to me, he said his main concern was to get the paint corrected and ceramic coated . He was very curious to understand how ceramic coatings could reduce wind resistance . His goal at the time was to get this 2008 Corvette to run under 10 seconds in the quarter mile.

His problem was that he just didn’t have the time to attempt to paint correct it and install a ceramic coating

As I was talking with him, I told him that every vehicles paint is different. I explained that one paint may be extremely soft and susceptible to scratches or marring. While one from another manufacturer could be very durable. Polishing paint can be a very tedious and time consuming process; a lot of patience is required.

The fact is that installing a ceramic coating can be even more extreme of a process. The paint first has to be cleaned, decontaminated and polished (this will remove most scratches). Then, all the unwanted layers are removed: old wax, compound, dealership showroom sprays and the polish that we used to correct the paint.

This particular car had some significant scuff marks and scratches all over the car. These seem to have come from mechanics working on the engine, as they were leaning on the paint with denim overalls.

While this was fixable, it did take a significant amount of time to complete the work.

After we fixed the paint, we installed our 1-year ceramic coating on it. Now, it looks amazing. It has a glass like finish to the paint and the paint is super slick. The car is now less wind-resistant and will fly through the quarter mile in the low 8 second range.

This is a beautiful 2017 Corvette Z06 Supercharged car. Kills Bugs Fast with Ceramic Protection. When my client contacted me, the car had sit for quite some time he wanted to protect it because he intends to drive it. That way he can kill some bugs. My client told me his main concern was that the paint had a cloudy look to it. He said he had just bought it New York. He was looking for a polish and a sealant or ceramic coating to restore the depth and clarity of the paint. In our conversation he mentioned that he thought it had never been maintained on a professional level.

Determining what kind of service was best for this 2017 Corvette Z06 Supercharged

As we talked, he stated that he wanted to get this Corvette Z06 protected with as much protection as possible. He wanted to know if I offered Paint Protection Film as another level of protection. I told him that I do not offer it but, my neighbor in our complex does. They are Tint Legacy and Eddie and Tony do a fantastic job. It was her late husbands car.

This is a rare version of 1969 Chevy Corvette 427 Stingray. This car only has 1800 original miles on it. Obviously it has sit for a long time. While allowing a car to sit may seem like a good idea. It is not. It can often time, end up costing more just to keep it updated. Even though a person may not be using the car, it still needs to be driven. When it gets driven, the wheel bearings get lubricated. The belts get used and they don’t start to dry rot. Oil gets run through the engine the inner parts of the engine get lubed up as well. Now she hires a special driver to come out the farm and drive it once a week.

Quite the car guy

As I was talking with my client, I discovered he is quite the “car guy.” This is his first Corvette. His previous car was a 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 that he absolutely hated. Mustang Fan Turned 2019 Chevy Corvette C7 Lover

For my client’s entire life he has been a Mustang fan. He figured this once he would switch and see what owning a Corvette was all about. The car is in really nice shape, of course it is a 2019. This 2019 Chevy Corvette C7 is one of those rare cars that turns heads as you drive down the road. As I started talking with my client about the various services Opti-Coat offers, he stated that he has had ceramic coatings installed on his Mustangs in the past. Minimal Damage Assessed on this 2019 Chevy Corvette C7

The car did have some light damage on it from sitting on the car lot at the dealership, however, it wasn’t very bad. I thought it should be really nice when I’m done.

Paint Decontamination/Opti-Coat Pro Installation

I did a chemical decontamination wash first which involves removing the top layer of fall out. After that I did a mechanical decontamination. I re-washed this Corvette to remove the chemical from the previous stage. The next stage is to use a clay bar treatment to remove the final contaminates left over from the chemical decontamination. The next stage is for us to polish the paint surface for Opti-Coat Pro ceramic coating with paint correction using Hyper Polish. Finally, IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) is used to remove all the previous waxes and oils. This is necessary so that the Opti-Coat Pro ceramic coating will chemically bond to the paint.

Most car dealerships will want to try and sell you a coating. Most of these coatings typically are substandard consumer grade coatings.

This particular 2015 Chevy Corvette Stingray had a few nicks in the paint that my client was a little disappointed with. However, at the end of the day, this Corvette was 4 years old at the time of this writing. Some nicks are unfortunately inevitable.

2010 Corvette Grand Sport – Best of the Rest – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport. This one particular Corvette Grand Sport has a unique story. The owner had traveled out of state to buy a corvette at a particular dealership. Once he arrived he discovered they had sold the corvette he had come for 1 hour before he arrived. The salesman told him not to worry he had another Corvette that was better.

When my client looked at this Corvette Grand Sport, he did realize that this particular Corvette was indeed much nicer than the Corvette he traveled to come see. This is unusual to see two Corvettes that have not been taken care of very well. Corvette owners typically have a very discerning eye.

Accessing the damage

This Corvette did have some scratches through out the body. When I inspected this Corvette I discovered a lot of scratches. The scratches came from the previous owner using improper wash methods. Most people don’t realize scratches occur on a regular basis from using a dry chamios or dry microfiber towel.

How to fix the problems

Water is not a lubricant. It does not provide a barrier between your car paint and the towel. When you wash your car with traditional soap and water, it is important to remember that your lubrication and protection against scratches is the soap itself. You then need to rinse it off. In order to dry your car properly set your drying towel (chamios, microfiber) on the surface of the car and let it soak up the water. Pick it up, ring it out, and repeat this way you are not dragging the towel across the surface of your paint.

Paint Correction

When my client and I were discussing his needs for this Corvette Grand Sport, I showed him my portfolio of some of the Corvettes that I have done in the past. We went over in detail everything that needed to be done. I explained that while being a mobile auto detail service , paint correction needs to be performed inside a building out of the elements. I was able to work out of his garage and as a result this Corvette Grand Sport came out beautiful. The reason for this is the paint must be kept cool to the touch. If it is not, then using a machine to correct the paint will cause the paint to fracture (or cause Micro-checking ). When this happens the only thing that can be done is repaint.

Actual Work Performed

As my client and I were discussing the options I could offer, we decided to go with Swissvax paint correction procedures. Swissvax is regarded as one of the most renowned high end chemical suppliers in the world. This ended up being a 4 step process. I had to start out with Swissvax cleaner fluid “strong” to eliminate heavy scratches and then “regular” professional cleaner to eliminate fine scratches . I finished with professional fluid final edition to give it extra gloss. The absolute last step was to give it a protective layer of wax. Swissvax Concorso was the final step. This Corvette came out absolutely stunning.

2016 Corvette Convertible Jet Black Truly Stunning – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2016 Corvette Convertible. This Corvette had its life start on the showroom and has basically lived there ever since. The owner had gone into our local dealership, to have his 2014 Corvette Convertible serviced. While he was waiting on the service department to finish his 2014 Corvette Convertible, he mistakenly walked into the showroom. He saw this 2016 Corvette Convertible and it was all over for him after that.

All Corvettes are very special in individual ways and this one is no different. It is part of a limited number run in 2016. Over the next 10-20 years it will become a collectors car.

Damage Assessed on this Corvette Convertible

One of the great things about having a mobile detailing business, is that I can service my client at their home and at their convenience. After looking over the corvette I discovered some light duty scratches and swirls in the paint. Most people don’t realize when they decide to buy a new vehicle, that they need to really look it over before they take it home. There is a great deal of damage to vehicles that happens at dealerships. Some comes from the transport truck and most of the other damage happens while it sits on the lot or in the showroom. People will drag their hand along the surface of the car that is probably dusty or dirty from just sitting.

Services Performed

My client and I discussed the different services that I can offer, and we decided the best option was to do a light paint correction . This would remove – not cover up – the swirls and light duty scratches in the paint. It had especially bad holograms on the rear deck lid. There were heavy water spots on the windows and hood which had to be removed. I used Zymol HD cleanse and Carbon wax. This system is renowned the world over for being very gentle on paint surfaces and it delivered stunning results.

2006 Corvette ZR6X 1100 HP Supervette-Reflection Pro Services-Paint Correction

Yes the title is correct. This is a one of a kind Supervette. This is a 2006 Corvette ZR6X. In 2006 Corvette made a very limited run of these Corvette ZR6X Supervette’s. This one in-particular Corvette ZR6X has a racing engine that produces 1100 horsepower. If you can believe it, the engine is a supercharged 427 cubic inch V-8. When my client and I were discussing the details of the services packages that I could offer, he sent me an email with very specific and detailed instructions on how to start this Corvette ZR6X and put it in gear. Let me tell you this Supervette is made to race no doubt about it.

He was also very specific about the work he wanted done. Which is actually quite refreshing. He had told me when he lived up north, he had “a guy” that was fabulous and was a true professional. Since he had moved to Florida he could not find anyone that really knew what they were doing. He had this Supervette coated by a Car Pro dealer. I am affiliated with Optimum Polymer Technologies and until this time had never used Car Pro products. I must say they make a pretty nice product. My client had a 2-3 year coating installed on this Corvette ZR6X.

Finding the right detailer for this 2006 Corvette ZR6X

Since arriving in Florida he had tried multiple detailers. Each one ended up making the coating worse by putting micro marring – straight line scratches in a circular motion in the coating. This comes from using a dual action polisher. The detailer then puts pressure on the top of the machine as it is working on the paint. My primary choice of machine is a rotary machine made by Flex machines in Germany. It is very light but still does a beautiful job. Most detailers today will tell you the rotary machine will destroy your vehicles paint. That is because they don’t know how to use one. The key in using a rotary buffer is keeping the speed low, keep your arm motion slow, and using just the weight of the machine. That is the technique I used on this Supervette.

Services Preformed on this 2006 Corvette ZR6X

After discussing several service options that I can offer, he decided on our paint correction services . As I had mentioned in the previous paragraph, he had been “burnt” in the past by the detailers he had encountered since arriving in Florida. So my client was skeptical to say the least. I think the end result should speak for it self. With the coating having been installed over 1.5 years ago it was a challenge to remove the scratches without removing the coating. It took about 5-6 hours of polishing and checking the paint and doing that process over and over again.

2006 Chevy Corvette – Restoration Paint Correction/Gloss Coat-Reflection Pro Services

This is is a 2006 Chevy Corvette. Unfortunately this particular 2006 Chevy Corvette had been neglected when the current owner bought it. Basically, it had scratches everywhere. The owner had contacted me through Facebook and asked about removing as many scratches as possible. After talking with her about the many different options available, she decided to have me do a Stage 1 Paint Correction . The scratches on this 2006 Chevy Corvette were not extremely deep, but they basically covered most of the car.

When the owner got home to see the car, she was amazed at the results. This took our conversation in another direction. How to maintain its appearance. 2014 Chevy Corvette Convertible – Remarkable Car – Reflection Pro Services

This is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This is a truly remarkable car in every sense of the word.

After talking with the owner, and walking around the car while doing a vehicle inspection, we discovered there were some problem areas on it prior to doing the detail. So we discussed multiple service options I could offer, then we decided to do a concours high-end detail .

What is a Concours High End detail ? It is a very extensive show car detail. The word Concours comes from Concours dElegance Detailing competition in Pebble Beach California. These competitions are reserved for only elite and very rare cars. Examples would be 1965 Ferrari 365 Daytona, 1963 Aston Martin DB 5, 1968 Lamborghini MiruaP 400, 1962 Jaguar E-type, just to name a few. Doing a detail of this nature in all reality requires a large amount of time. Every section of this Corvette was scrubbed and polished from the rocker panels to the door jams and wheels. All road-tar from inside the wheel wells was removed the inside of the wheels themselves were scrubbed and polished. We then did a paint correction service on multiple sections of the paint with rear deck lid being the most extensive. Then I topped off the paint with Zymol Titanium wax.

We then turned our attention to the interior. One of the many things that are different on the Concours High End Detail , is the way the interior is treated and finished. I use Opti-Seal to shine all the glossy areas in the interior. This leaves the interior, dash, center console and door panels shiny but not oily. The leather is then cleaned and conditioned with hide food leather conditioner from London England. This can sometimes be a lot more involved and then just wiping on a conditioner and calling it a day.

2005 Corvette ZR1

This is a 2005 Corvette ZR1. This has been a pleasure to work on. Black on any vehicle can be extremely difficult to work on. When a black or a dark colored vehicle is driven on a daily basis, it shows road damage (fall out) more than any other color. From Manufacturer to Manufacturer, the hardness of any paint can differ greatly. This makes removing scratches, imperfections, bug damage, bird droppings very difficult. This particular Corvette had a couple of scratches in the hood that were pretty deep. I used a system with Zymol that I have developed over the last couple of years. It snapped back very nicely.

2005 BMW 645ci Timeless Classic Gets Ceramic Protection

Once in a while a car comes along that breaks the narrative of being sleek and classy. This is A 2005 BMW 645ci. It is an absolutely beautiful car. My client contacted me through our Opti-Coat registration website. He was looking to have a ceramic coating installed on his 2005 BMW 645ci to protect the paint. I told him with a car this old our warranty service does not cover the paint when it is past five years old. However, we can still coat the car and provide a ceramic coating protection to the paint. The paint underneath would not be warranted from cracking or checking which looks like tic-tac-toe lines underneath the paint. He told me he didn’t care about the warranty as much as he wanted to have the paint protected. I told him that was fine and we offered several different services.

The main purpose of a ceramic coating is protect the substrate from external abrasion. Meaning protection from environmental elements. Assessing the damage

This usually is from someone using a rotary buffing machine on the paint that does not know how to use one.

How to fix the problems on this 2005 BMW 645ci

BMW paint is very difficult to bring back to the original clarity and luster. The way to do that is to be very methodical and take your time polishing. This is so we have a surface that is free of defects.The paint can’t be allowed to get hot. It will cause “checking” or “fracturing” which will look like straight line scratches forming crosses (tic tac toe effect, see the before pictures in the gallery).

On this 2005 BMW 645ci, he decided to go with Opti-Coat Pro .

Proper polishing to eliminate heat on any paint surface is essential for installing Ceramic Coatings.

Heat is your enemy when polishing paint. The absolute last thing you want is for the paint to get hot. It will cause fracturing or “checking.” When that happens your paint will begin to peel.

Honestly, this should be the same type service that any ceramic coating company should perform before applying their coating. Unfortunately, it is not. Most installers will do the minimum they need to in order to get the car out the door and be paid. That is not our objective. I told my client that he will need to be satisfied and happy with the service performed on his 2005 BMW 645ci. Once he was happy with it then payment is taken.

2015 BMW Z4 Roadster – 007 Gets Cars and Coffee

This is a 2015 BMW Z4 Roadster. These vehicles are always fun to work on. One of the things my client mentioned was that this particular 2015 BMW Z4 Roadster was the dream car he had always wanted. He had saved up enough to pay cash for it when he retired from the US Air Force. Now my client wanted get his Z4 properly detailed for their local BMW Cars and Coffee. These events occur about once a month. This 2015 BMW Z4 Roadster at it’s heart is a race car. This particular 2015 BMW Z4 Roadster has had a normal life for a vehicle of this type. It gets driven to and from work on a daily basis, occasionally it gets driven to the store and back home. On the weekends it goes to BMW car shows.

BMW Z4 has the heart of a spy – James Bond 007

The original design for this car was developed for the James Bond movie Goldeneye in 1995. The BMW in Goldeneye was a Z3, it was the first version of this Z4. Incidentally this was also the first time in the James Bond movie series that a BMW had been used as one of his cars.

US Military Thank you !!

I had started talking with my client about his BMW Z4 Roadster and what services he wanted done, I discovered that he is retired Air Force and had just moved into our section of Florida. The military always hold a special place in my heart. My brother served in Vietnam when I was a kid. When he came back he told us stories that were quite frankly staggering. A lot of our men came back a shell of who they were when they left. We live in the greatest country on earth. That is because of our military. When my client and I began discussing the services he wanted and needed to have done. He showed me scratches and blemishes that had bothered him since he bought it. We discussed several options, from our Complete Luxury Detail , to our Presidential Detail and our Concours Detail . I also mentioned our Optimum Polymer Technologies Coating packages. 2019 Chevy Camaro ZL1 – Ocala, FL Ceramic Car Coating

This 2019 Chevy Camaro ZL1 in Ocala, FL was done as a result of work we’d done for a friend. Essentially, our client saw the how fantastic our friend’s 2008 Corvette looked, that they wanted the same kind of treatment for their Camaro.

Fixing the issues

This 2019 Chevy Camaro ZL1 had a minor scratches and holograms that needed to be fixed. My client is very particular about his Camaro and he wanted it to look as close to brand new as possible.

Once a report has been generated, it tell us what we need to know to form a “game plan” to polish and correct any problem areas.

After finishing the evaluation, we formulated a plan to correct the issues the Camaro had so it would look great again. We polished his Camaro to near perfection. Then, gave it a 1-year ceramic sealant .

2010 Cadillac Escalade Limited Edition

This job was for a 2010 Cadillac Escalade Limited. As a point of interest, the paint for this large SUV is a very special limited edition. There were only 37 Escalades in 2010 painted this color at the factory.

For most of this Escalade’s life, it has been pretty much kept inside and been basically a show vehicle. The only real issue with it has been, the fact that it hadn’t, been truly polished to bring out the the depth and beauty of this amazing paint color. If you look closely, at the paint, it has a slight pearl tint to it. which is what makes it so unique.

After discussing the various options with the owner, he decided he wanted to have the “pop”. We decided to do a full paint correction service on it. Although this particular Escalade, didn’t need any scratches removed, it did need to have the paint restored to it’s original brilliance when it was initially painted at the factory.

This was a 7 hour process that involved 4 stages of prepping the paint, cleaning polishing and, finally, waxing. Finished with Swissvax Mirage.

This car turned out looking amazing! The owner was very proud of their Escalade looking nearly new.

2021 BMW 740 Xi – Referral that Leads to The Ultimate in Ceramic Protection

This is a beautiful 2021 BMW 740 Xi. It has gotten the ultimate in Ceramic Coating Protection. Every part of the exterior on this car is now protected for the next 7 years. This car is actually from a referral several years ago. Our client had come in to our shop after having a bad experience with another local ceramic coating company.

2017 BMW 440i – Ultimate Driving Machine gets Paint Correction and Ceramic Coated!

This is a 2017 BMW 440i. We don’t see many of these cars around this part of Central Florida. BMW has always had the monicker of the Ultimate Driving Machine. This is truly one of those cars. My Client filled out our book now form on our website. My client called me to ask some questions about paint correction and ceramic coatings. He had a couple of friends of his tell him that he needed to investigate having a ceramic coating installed on his new car. He owns one of our major chain restaurants here in Ocala.

This 2017 BMW 440i damaged by a purse

One of his customers inadvertently put her purse on top the hood of this 2017 BMW 440i. Then when she took it off of the hood, her purse scratched the paint. After talking with him about the various options, we decided the best corse of action was to fix the scratch in the paint and then have a ceramic coating applied to his 2017 BMW 440i.

Assessing the damage

This particular 2017 BMW 440i was in very nice shape. There was also another issue with the top of the roof. This particular 2017 BMW 440i, also has a hard top convertible. The top of the roof has molding pieces that help guide the top when opening and closing the roof. On the inside part on both side had been rubbed and scuffed up. So we decided to fix that as well.

How to fix the problems

I spoke with my client about all of the ceramic coating options offered by Owners Pride . In order to fix the scratch on the hood for his BMW, I would need to perform a stage 2 paint correction . The roof also required a stage 2 paint correction. I also told him that while part of the ceramic coating service includes a light polish, anything that is needed beyond that would be an extra charge.

Work performed on this 2017 BMW 440i

I used Optimum Hyper Intensive polish, which is a medium cut polish with a rotary machine to eliminate the scratch and scuff marks on the roof. This took a great deal of time. I then cleaned the paint with an IPA solution and then finally coated this vehicle with Owners Pride Ceramic. This 2017 BMW 440i has very high quality paint the results are stunning.

This is a 2019 Audi A-7. This is a premium Opti-Coat Pro Plus ceramic coating job I had the privilege to do. This 2019 Audi A-7 is state of the art. It is a hybrid car, but it has everything you could possibly imagine for features. It will almost drive itself.

This 2019 Audi A-7 is my clients dream car. My client waited six months for this to arrive from Germany. Once she finally received it, a representative from Audi of North America told her about Opti-Coat coatings. He said the best thing to do would be to protect it with an Opti-Coat coating preferably Pro or Pro Plus . He also told her to investigate every installer she is considering. She should make sure that they are certified by Opti-Coat and actually know what they’re doing.

This is a 2012 Aston Martin Rapide. This car is very rare. My client had always driven corvettes. Here are both of his previous corvettes . This is his first Aston Martin. He absolutely loves it.

Saving my Client Very Important Time

His problem was that he just didn’t have the time to attempt to paint correct it and install a ceramic coating.

As I was talking with him, I told him that every vehicles paint is different. I explained that one paint may be extremely soft and susceptible to scratches or marring. While one from another manufacturer could be very durable. Polishing Aston Martin paint can be a very tedious and time consuming process; a lot of patience is required.

Paint Correction, Exterior and Interior Ceramic Coating for this Aston Martin

The fact is that installing a ceramic coating can be even more extreme of a process. The paint first has to be cleaned, decontaminated, and polished (this will remove most scratches). Then, all the unwanted layers are removed: old wax, compound, dealership showroom sprays, and the polish that we used to correct the paint.

This is a 2010 Toyota Corolla S. Right from the beginning, this car had some of the best care available at the time. I did a Maintenance Detail Package on this Toyota Corolla from the start. I used nothing but Swissvax Mirage wax on it from the first time the owner brought the car home. It really shows, when a car is taken care of in the right way.

2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI – Opti-Coat Paint Guard – Stunning Results

This is a 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI. At the time of this writing this vehicle is brand new. My client had called me to detail his wife’s Ford Focus. Unfortunately, before we could get it done he had traded it off on this new Volkswagen.

What makes this 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI special?

Anytime you are able to buy a brand new car it’s always a special occasion. When I arrived there he told me there had been a change of plans. He would now like to get Opti-Coat Paint Guard applied to this new 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI. My client also has had me apply Opti-Coat Paint Guard to his 2015 Chevy Corvette Stingray . When he said he wanted Opti-Coat Paint Guard applied to his wife’s Volkswagen, it was a very nice surprise.

Access the damage

Although this was a brand new car, there are a lot of times that the damage has occurred on the dealership property. That is simply from a lack of maintenance by the detail department at the dealership. Most of the damage that occurs at a dealership is from sitting on the lot. This particular 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI had some micro marring – which is light scratches. This happens from the car being washed with a pressure washer and then being wiped down with the same towel they have used on several other cars on the lot. This process creates scratches. Another problem would be parking lot scratches from the dealership taking the cars out and scuffing the side doors.

How to fix the problems

I had previously spoken with him about all of the ceramic coatings offered by Opti-Coat. He was very interested at the time but didn’t want to spend the money on a car he might be trading away.
